FAYE WEBB PIKE, ARTIST

Faye Webb Pike was born in Amherst, Nova Scotia, Canada. Her love of art began at a young age beginning with the guidance of mentor Sarah Hart, Sackville, New Brunswick and a scholarship to the Massachusetts College of Fine Art, Boston, US.

She has also studied under the tutelage of Roberta Taylor, Joanne Hunt, Twila DeCoste, Peter Humeniuk, Frans Aeyelts, Sterling Edwards, William Rogers and Brian Atyeo. She is a long time member of the Sackville Art Association, Sackville, NB.

Faye is a contemporary multi-media artist who paints all subjects in pastel, oil, acrylic, watercolour, ink and mixed medium. Her inspiration comes by living and working in her studio next to the ocean, where the sounds and activities enhance her artistic creativity.
